"Invasion" is the latest release from John 5 and The Creatures.
It is featuring the previously-released singles Zoinks!, I Am John 5, Crank It and Midnight Mass, the album was produced and mixed by Barry Pointer at Riot House Studio.
John 5 has released another single from the album , I Want It All to mark the album's release.
The album varies in styles, which is in typical John 5 style.
It goes between his notorious "dark" sound in songs such as Invasion, Zoinks!, and Midnight Mass, then brings in some funk with some industrial elements for Crank It (Living With Ghosts ) and I Like The Funk. (P.S. I always felt like Crank It (Living With Ghosts) could've been a riff to a 2wo song but that's for another time)
The record also has a slower and more bluegrass/country elements in songs such as Cactus Flower (My personal favorite), Howdy, and Constant Sorrow.
Invasion is another stellar album put out by a group of insanely gifted musicians. The thing that is so special about John 5 and The Creatures is they keep putting out these insane instrumental albums and keep it interesting. Not one album or song is alike, some even vary heavily in style.

In addition to the fall leg John 5 and the Creatures will play a one-off co-headlining show with the Aristocrats in Los Angeles at 1720 on Sept. 1.
