The Deftones just released that They will be embarking out on Their summer 2020 tour with Gojira and Poppy. The band will be passing through Pittsburgh Pa and stopping at the Peterson Events Center on
August 26th. The band is gearing up to be releasing their 1th studio album later this year which will be a follow up to 2016’s Gore. This California band has been churning out hits since 1995 with notable
singles, ‘Change’, ‘My Own Summer’, ‘Diamond Eyes’, and ‘Prayers/ Triangles’. Deftones started out in the middle of the alternative/ nu metal scene and have quickly grown through out the years while expanding their music through experimentation. Vocalist Chino Moreno is known for having a full range of vocal dynamic from soft spoken word to high screams.
Gojira is a French metal band known for having distorted guitars, and heavy grooves. The band was featured on this past years Sonic Temple Fest and played The Knotfest roadshow which passed through Key Bank pavilion. Poppy is a newer band to the metal scene which just signed with Summerian
Records in 2019. The band fuses elements of metal with pop music, comparable to that of Baby Metal with breakdowns. Tickets for the Deftones Summer Tour will be available to the general public on
