Interview with Venice Revive

From The Depths Entertainment was created when the first music was heard by our ears. From The Depths Entertainment isn't about one genre, it's about many, like music in general. We strive in making an artist as successful as we can. Spreading the name of the artist and making more fans for them is the first thing that this company will start to do off the bat.

There's no gimmicks here, there's no catchy slogans, it's just a company that strives on helping artists that are coming up "From The Depths" so to speak. It's this company's goal to have them break through the hardships and to help further their career as musicians.

Here's a recent chat we had with them.

How did the name come about?

- During Covid-19 lockdowns, no cars were driven on roads, but in Venice there were no

gondolas in their canals – dolphins where sighted swimming there! The name came up to my head immediately and I knew I had to use it.

How would you describe your genre to someone who isn't familiar with your music?

- a beautiful blend of metalcore and symphonic metal. Some songs have a metalcore

structure with a heavy use of pianos and violins, but some songs are purely symphonic.

How did the band form?

- I started writing music around 2016 and I felt I was pretty good at it, suddenly there's an album out!

What are some of the artists that influence you?

- For the first album, it was mostly the classic metalcore I grew up on: Trivium, As I Lay

Dying, Killswitch Engage, Bullet for my Valentine. For the next album I'm trying to draw influence from more modern sounds like Bad Omens, Kingdom of Giants, Annisokay and such.

If you could tour with any artist or band (still active or not) who would it be?

- Trivium, no hesitation.

What's the future hold for the band?

- The instruments for the second album are already recorded and some covers are also in the works, hopefully I can find more people to play live shows, I really want my music to reach as many people as possible.
