Ministry, The Melvins and Corrosion Of Comformity Rocks Stage AE
First time back at Stage AE since August of 2019, this tour billing was the best way to jump back into Stage AE on the North Shore in Pittsburgh, PA.
Each band being notable and pioneers in their respective rights.
The night started off with a chilling entrance from Corrsion of Comformity. As a new fan I wasn't sure what to expect from their live show but wow these musicians gave the crowd their all and looked like they had a blast doing it.
The Melvins were up second and as a huge fan of the late 80s/ early 90s Seattle scene I am a huge personal fan of The Melvins. Setlist including hits as Kicking Machine, Honey bucket and Hooch. The power filled set brought the crowd energy up to 10 right before Ministry was set to take the stage,
Ministry, celebrating 30 years of The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste brought their electrifying set behind a fence. Shaking the fence almost symbolizing how locked up the worlds been, featuring songs as NWO, Breathe and Just One Fix. The light show they had was also incredible and i haven't seen that mentioned in anyones review yet. The colored lights mixed with the effects on the back screen was some of the raddest (I'm pretty sure that isn't a word but it is now) stuff I have seen in a long time!
if you get the chance, be sure to catch this tour. It's a banger.
