Steel Panther and Crobot Bring Their Rockin' Tour To Silver Spring

In the middle of an ongoing Twitter feud with Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx, Steel Panther

is set to take the stage at the Filmore in Silver Spring, MD.

The always comical hair metal group has returned to Silver Spring to bring some

bitchin' metal with them.

They're currently promoting their latest album "Heavy Metal Rules" which dropped

last month.

This show is part of the first half of the "Heavy Metal Rules" tour with guests Crobot

opening up.

Since emerging in 2011, the group has quietly cemented themselves among the

rising rock vanguard. Following the 2012 debut Legend of the Spaceborne Killer

and 2014's Something Supernatural, the musicians made waves with Welcome To

Fat City in 2016. Consequence of Sound praised the title track as "a stomping

slice of doom," and Classic Rock bestowed a coveted 4-out-of-5-star rating on the

album, going on to claim, "Welcome To Fat City is a mighty leap forward for Crobot,

an ebullient masterclass." Not to mention, they received acclaim from AXS, New Noise

Magazine, and more as total album streams surpassed the 1-million-mark.

Along the way, Crobot toured with the likes of Anthrax, Clutch, Volbeat,

Black Label Society, Chevelle, Motorhead, The Sword, and more in addition to appearing on ShipRocked! and at numerous other festivals.

They've been touring on their newest release "Motherbrain" which is such a solid record.

Striking a delicate balance between hard-charging riffs, ass-shaking funk,

and out-of-this-world reflective stage attire, the Pennsylvania quartet-

Brandon Yeagley [lead vocals, harmonica], Chris Bishop [guitar, vocals],

and Dan Ryan [drums], satisfy starvation for sonic sustenance on their fourth

full-length and 2019 debut for Mascot Label Group, Motherbrain. James Lascu and

Eddie Collins shares the role of touring bassist for Crobot.

I've seen this band a bunch of times and they just keep getting better. The

amount of energy the entire band, especially Brandon(vocals) has is out of this world. They get the crowd going, you can't help but be totally captivated by these guys.

Steel Panther, a band you've probably seen me write a lot about. I'm saving

all my jokes and puns for another time. This band's show is the most underrated

rock show out there right now. Period.

These four guys have been playing together for over a decade as Steel Panther and it shows. These guys not only comically never miss a beat, but they're so tight

instrumentally. They never miss a thing and make everything look so damn

effortless.

Whether it's Michael running around throwing his hat to Stix, Lexxi checking

his make-up in his mirror or Satchel making those bitchin solos look so damn easy.

This band is so underrated.

They're the only band I've seen multiple times on a tour and never have gotten bored.

I think what makes it so good is, yes there's obviously a template of some sort

of what they're going to do. However, every show is different. They find

a way to change up every single night so something is special and unique.

These guys are some true vets and I can't speak higher of them.

Check out "Heavy Metal Rules" and be sure to catch the boys on the next half of
