Steel Panther "On The Prowl" Tour

If you've been following EMSU Media since the beginning, you aren't a stranger to the band Steel Panther. These guys have been one of my favorite bands to cover and photograph since I started shooting shows many years ago.

With a new album cycle always brings new exciting elements to the show, new set lists, new banters, etc. I have and continue to say Steel Panther is one of most underrated touring bands. Their show is one of those kind of gigs you can see multiple times a tour and never see the same show.

I was honored to be able to be at multiple shows on this tour and every night was a different experience. While yes, the set list doesn't change and some of the jokes are the same. The banter every night between the guys and seeing what kind of nonsense awaits at the venue (especially when the girls get on stage) is one of the best parts of a Steel Panther show.

Seeing the fans all glammed out in 80s style wigs and spandex ready to scream the inappropriate debauchery never fails to put a smile on my face.

From mosh pits, to bagpipes, boobs, special guests, and much more you never know what is going to happen next.

Aside from the antics these guys continue to prove how tight they are musically live, even with the jokes and shenanigans they keep the sound super tight. The addition of new full time bassist Spyder, the band punches you in the face with the same heavy metal they've been playing for years.
