THE PINEAPPLE THIEF RELEASE NEW PERFORMANCE VIDEO FOR "WRETCHED SOUL" FROM FORTHCOMING "NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH" LIVE ALBUM
Following the announcement of The Pineapple Thief's forthcoming multi-format release on November 12th (October 22nd RoW) of Nothing But The Truth - their extraordinary live event filmed earlier this year - the band present the Nothing But The Truth performance clip for “Wretched Soul”, a track that originally appeared on their 2005 album 10 Stories Down.
Bruce Soord - “Late last year, Gavin was listening to our back catalogue, looking for songs to bring into our new live set. When he heard 'Wretched Soul' he told me how much he liked it and if I minded him reworking it, bringing in his rhythmic and arrangement ideas. In fact there is a short 'behind the tracks' documentary included 'Nothing But The Truth' where Gavin explains what he did, and why. I loved what he brought to the song, it's given it a whole new lease of life. It's also a LOT of fun to play live.”
Nothing But The Truth captures The Pineapple Thief at their very best performing songs from their illustrious catalogue including, for the first time, songs from Versions Of The Truth and will be released on 12th November (22nd October RoW) on the following formats.
