Another Day Dawns "Stranger" EP

Hailing from Lehighton, Pennsylvania, Another Day Dawn
was originally formed in 2010
by drummer Nick McGeehan and guitarist Tyler Ritter.
The high energy rock band quickly became a household name shortly after.
The addition of frontman Dakota McGeehan & his signature vocals paved the
way for what would mark the band’s evolution into a full-on original act.
The trio wasted no time in quickly generating buzz across the United States,
and has supported acts such as Avatar, Buckcherry, Hinder, Cold, and many
others.
A chance encounter in 2016 at a local music conference introduced
the band to Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum engineer/producer
David Ivory (Halestorm, Silvertide, The Roots). Quickly,
the band began work on new material, one of which would become
the band's debut single "Love She's After," mastered by Ted Jensen at
Sterling Sound and released on Ivory's label Flexitone Records in early
January 2017.
Their EP "Stranger" slated to release January 31st, it follows the release of
their 2019 full-length record "A Different Life".
I think it's easy to say that Stranger is a solid follow-up and addition to
their previous record that dropped last year.
ADD gives me a very modern rock vibe in all of their work, and this EP is no different.
If you're a fan of Three Days Grace or Seether this EP is for sure worth a listen.
The five-track EP starts off with "Beautiful Suicide" which has a very catchy
hook to start with and carries through the entire song. I could
see a crowd jumping and moshing to this. It makes me want to start jumping and
fist-bumping.
"Am I" has a very modern rock vibe that I was talking about earlier, I love
how this song flows lyrically and instrumentally.
The next two songs are a lot more mellow than the first two, "Taste Of Heaven" and
'Never Okay" are a nice break from the heavier side and shows that ADD has no
problem being able to slow down and hit us right in our feels.
Frontman Dakota McGeehan vocals are really showcased on both, but more
so on "Never Okay". I love how the melody flows.
The EP ends with "Forget Me Not" which starts off with this super heavy riff
that comes in with this powerful vocal out of nowhere.
This EP is a super solid listen, I love what the people in Another Day Dawns
have created and hope to catch them live soon.
Be sure to pick up a copy of Strangers when it drops on January 31st
