Wednesday, May 25th, 2022 - Canadian deathcore wrecking crew, BRAND OF SACRIFICE, have dropped a reworking of their massive single, "Demon King", this time featuring the formidable vocal stylings of feat Ryo Kinoshita. Speaking on the reworking of "Demon King", BRAND OF SACRIFICE frontman, Kyle Anderson adds "We're long-time fans of Ryo's work and I knew we had to team up together for this track. Ryo did a lot of new things on this tune he hasn't done before on any of his other songs, and it's incredibly heavy. His vocals have always been extremely aggressive and energetic, and I'm so excited for BOS fans to hear this new spin on Demon King.""
'Lifeblood' was hotly tipped as an album of the year contender last year. The album debuted on the Top 10 of the iTunes Rock chart in Ireland, Canada, USA, South Africa and Australia and debuted on the Top 10 of the iTunes All Genre chart in the US, Canada and Ireland. They followed the album release with the release of a new track, "Enemy" feat. Spencer Chamberlain of Underoath, back in August. The release came complete with a cinematic short film, a manga graphic novel and special edition vinyl that sold out almost immediately and a limited edition vinyl variant sold exclusively via Revolver that sold out on pre-orders. They also released a reworking of album title track, "Lifeblood" feat. Will Ramos of Lorna Shore. Most recently, the band worked with We Came As Romans on the ferocious reimagining of their song "Darkbloom (Reimagined)". 'Lifeblood' has clocked up 25 million streams since its release. BRAND OF SACRIFICE have a packed summer of touring ahead of them. Currently on tour with Thy Art Is Murder, After The Burial and Currents until June 18th. They will then hit the road with As I Lay Dying, Whitechapel and Shadow Of Intent from June 24 - July 17th. And finally, just announced yesterday, the band will be playing a very special one-off show at the House Of Blues in Anaheim, CA on August 24th with Spiritbox and Dayseeker - proceeds from the VIP packages for this show will be donated to Headband For Science a new 501 C3 founded by SiriusXM's Jose Mangin.

Since 2018, Toronto-based deathcore quintet BRAND OF SACRIFICE have been imprinting their mark on the heavy music scene. Dubbed ‘The Branded Ones,’ the group’s fans joined and marched with them as they tore across the globe in support of debut EP 'The Interstice' and LP statement 'God Hand' which debuted at #20 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums Chart.
Other highlights to a whirlwind cycle for 'God Hand' included a slot on The Summer Slaughter Tour with Carnifex, Cattle Decapitation, The Faceless and Lorna Shore, a world tour with tech vets Rings of Saturn, plus a tour with fellow upcoming deathcore titans Shadow of Intent.
BRAND OF SACRIFICE have spread their wings for sophomore LP 'Lifeblood'. With a production even more pummeling, exemplified by laser-sharp structures and a wide-gulf of dynamics, the album takes catchy to another level, with choruses comprising string orchestrations and synths, alongside bludgeoning breakdowns and plenty of guest appearances. Across their releases to date, BRAND OF SACRIFICE have hit 43 million streams and 10 million YouTube views.
The band draws its name from popular anime series Berserk by Kentaro Miura. 'Lifeblood' focuses on the series’ dark horse protagonist Guts, a lone wolf who faces demons both inside and out in a post-apocalyptic world.
