Santa Cruz - "Return of the Kings"

Grimy, fast, and filthy from across the pond. Santa Cruz, the glam and hard metal band from Finland, is bringing their fast-paced journey of drinking a little too much and their woes with meeting girls to the states. These Scandinavian glam revivalists are getting a sound that is not unfamiliar yet screeching in the modern day. Meticulous and harmonious guitar solos with power ballad belts just like any of the 80s hair metal for fathers.

Their newest album "Return Of The Kings" released on August 26th, and it comes, fights, and bleeds all the nasty glitter and grime that glam brings. Strap on the leather pants and hustle down to the Whiskey A Go Go, and you can bang your head and sing along all night long. While a lot of their repertoire consists of hard power chords, filthy guitar solos, and smashing drums, they also have a softer side. Some of the last songs on Return Of The Kings are 1000 Cigarettes and Would You Believe It. These two show the softer side of Santa Cruz.

While still encompassing that glam and hair algorithm, these two songs have their vocals not stretched and pacing like the other ones. A more chill and relaxed side, almost folky in ways for the Nordic headbangers. They swing both ways in their music, being sweet and spicy where you can get a little of both worlds from Santa Cruz on "Return Of The Kings".
