Blazing a new path for Alternative Rock in the 21st century, acclaimed Jersey City N.J. based band Split Second Meltdown released a new single today.

Re-imagining a Jimi Hendrix classic, Split Second Meltdown's cover of "Foxey Lady" features Guns N Roses guitarist Richard Fortus on guitar, Charlie Paxson and Sol Walker of Death Diamond on drums and bass, and front man Rob Clores on vocals, rhythm guitar and keys.

“It's maybe a bit risky doing a completely different arrangement of a classic song," says Clores, "but I found it fun to re-imagine "Foxey Lady" re-harmonized, while keeping the melody mostly intact."

While the legendary Hendrix riff has been replaced with a completely new harmonic structure, Split Second Meltdown's version contains all the urgency and bombast of the original, injecting a new level of complex musicality without diminishing any of the original songs muscular drive.

Split Second Meltdown is Rob Clores - songwriter, vocalist, rhythm guitar and keyboards. Guests include Charlie Paxson and Sol Walker (Death Diamond) on drums and bass, as well as, Jimmy Messer (Awolnation) on guitars.

Additional musicians include John 'JD" DeServio (Black Label Society) on bass, Bob Pantella (Monster Magnet) on drums, Kenny Dubman (Prophet), Tony Bruno and Andee Blacksugar on guitar.
